In a shocking turn of events, the NBA has announced the banning of Jontay Porter, a two-way player formerly under contract with the Toronto Raptors. The investigation revealed that prior to the Raptors' March 20 game, Porter shared confidential information about his health with an individual known to be an NBA bettor. Furthermore, it was found that Porter placed at least 13 bets on NBA games from January to March 2024, while traveling with the Raptors or Raptors 905.
